The Winter Wonderland, pt 1 (11/24/05)
No, this isn't the latest in stage design for the next U2 concert. This is a far more sinister beast. Here's a quick snap shot of just part of the Christmas display that I worked on with Dad over the past few months. He takes such pride in this display, which we add to every year. The entire display covers over two acres and has well over 15,000 lights by the time all is said and done. It's much work for Dad, me, and my brother, and now my nephews are even trying to get involved. I'm not sure how it even evolved to this! There will be more pix to come. |
