The Flies Vs. The Lemons (10/24/04)
As a resident of Brown County, I have a chance each year to purchase four Packer tickets. Living in Green Bay, this is quite the hot commodity, especially when the tickets I received were against the Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay's longtime rival. I'm far from a sports fan, but really enjoy going to a good game. For this game, I invited my parents and brother. We had a great time. It really meant a lot of my dad to go to this game. As usual, as everybody else was watching the game, I was searching out interesting things to shoot with my camera. We were sitting very close to the scoreboard, and I realized that sitting that close to it, it was quite interesting how the board is composed of large led lights. At that close distance, I could barely make out the images on the screen. The screen immediately reminded me of the huge-ass led screens U2 had when I saw their PopMart tour all those years ago. I love the randomness of this shot, and how you kind of have to search out what the real image is. Only I could tie football to U2. |
