Margarita Night (10/28/04)
This was taken at my favorite bar, Escapades, a great Margarita bar, after an awesome night of drawing at my art class. I've always liked the glow of lights in a bar. What better way to capture that than with an extended exposure right on the bar. I love how the bartender, Raphael, becomes a ghost image as he hurries about making our margaritas There's something about night photography and how it reflects upon surfaces that's really been interesting me lately. Gosh, I can practically taste the salt on the glass.... |
