Lauren, Brendan, and Arianna (10/29/04)
Every year, for the past six or seven years, a few coworkers and I get together near the end of October for a pumpkin carving party. What started out as a get together between coworkers has turned into a real hot play date for the four kids who've come about along the way. It's amazing, getting together each year, remembering how young the kids were the year before, and how much it seems they've grown. This is one tradition I'm extremely happy to be part of. For this shot, three of the four kids did their best to hold still, staring into light of our row of completed and lit jack-o'-lanterns, while that crazy guy their dads work with tried a few photographic experiments. The innocence shown in their eyes is amazing, considering what a real handful they all are when together! |
