Bitter Cold (11/22/04)
This was shot after a long night of finalizing my parent's outisde Christmas decoration display, making sure it was ready for the big Thanksgiving night unveiling. What I remember most about this night was how cold it was, how bad I just wanted my tasks to be done, and how bright the moon was. It was on this night that I realized how different things would be, with a sick father, and how simple tasks were now taking three or four times as long. Despite the beauty of this moonlight, there's a real sense of sadness in this picture to me. |
