The Clearing (7/3/05)
This was shot over 4th of July weekend in Florence, WI, at my aunt and uncle's cottage. My uncle and I went for an ATV ride through the trails in this great northern forest. This weekend was my first time driving a 4-wheeler, and I have to say, I loved every minute of it. During the ride, we followed the dusty trails as they winded up and around the woods. We came across one deer on our journey and a series of other ATV riders. Then as we came across a clearing, my uncle sprung this view of a neighboring lake, Keyes Lake, on me. I was blown away. The northern landscapes never fail to take my breath away. |
