Catching The Sunrise (1/20/05)
This was shot less than a block from my house in smalltown USA. I grabbed this pict on an early Friday morning on my way to work. I saw this sunrise, and had to pull over and snap the photo. I've shot many sunsets in my life, but am usually never awake or don't have time to grab the sunrises. I've noticed that the color spectrum for a sunrise is usually richer, more on the red side, always making them brilliant. If I just allowed myself more time to catch them... This pict is another case of having my camera with me at the right time, and just shooting when the moment presents itself. I also like the general feeling of this little town slowly waking up on this cold winter day. |
