Fireworks And Serenity (7/2/05)
This is the second in a series of nighttime shots done over the 4th of July weekend in Florence, WI. My cousins were having a blast with their sparklers, a 4th of July mainstay. I was having a blast with the extended shutter speed capturing the fireworks while the kids, bustling about, became ghosts and blurs. This shot really captures the beauty of a campfire and the excitement of the holiday, which really seems to contrast the serenity of Lake Emily. |
