Two Steps Forward Two Steps Back (6/22/04)
One of the things that I'm noticing about my photography, is that my pictures tend to be nice and safe, usually of pretty nature scene or flowers. This was my attempt to shoot something less literal, less about some object, and have it be more about shape, color, texture, and light. In the end, though, shooting through this lace curtain in my mom's bathroom, I realized that the ultimate pattern that still shone through was that of a flower. Perhaps I'm destined to shoot flowers for the rest of my life! Oh well, back to the drawing board!
