The Onslaught Of Night (4/17/04)
This is the last of five photographs in a series of cloud formation studies. It was the darkest formation I was able to capture before complete darkness and nightime fully set in. Again, there was no digital manipulation of this photograph. I'm blown away by the deep navy blues and the sweeping pasterns in the clouds. This photo best illustrates some of what I was feeling in April of 2004. But as with night, the morning sun is never too far behind.
