Harsh Angles And Bold Grids (4/24/04)
This photo was shot on Michigan Avenue in Chicago. Whenever I'm in a big city, I'm always blown away by the presence of architecture. It's everywhere and you can't escape it. It must be hard to even see the horizon. My photographic eye tends to gravitate towards things that are more organic: trees, flowers, clouds, water, and sunsets. But the graphic designer in me loves the harsh angles and bold grids that a city skyline has to offer.
