The First Sunset (3/9/04)
This is the first sunset I shot with my new digital camera. It's also the first sunset that was ever pointed out to my nephews. I asked them where the sun went, they shrugged their little shoulders, and we all concluded "It's sleeping."

I was helping my parents take care of the boys as my sister and her husband were gone to Ixtopa, Mexico. My sister raved about the sunsets they saw on the ocean every night. I wonder if any of them could compare to this?

It's pretty damn cool to think we were admiring sunsets at the same moment in time from all those miles away.
