Brush (1/17/04)
I found a real beauty in these dried up perennial bushes this past autumn. But seeing them in this winter setting devoid of any color whatsoever was really quite moving too, especially considering the magnificent large pink flowers that will bloom from this bush sometime in June, usually on the anniversary of my grandfather's death. There's always a sadness I associate with these flowers, which is much more obvious in the form of this dried up brush.
