The Moon

This is another shot in my "Sailing" series, taken
on the final night of sailing for the season in Neenah, Wisconsin.
This is a picture of the main sail, shooting into the sky. This
main sail is the main power source for the boat, really harnessing
some wind energy. I've leaned back and looked up at the sail
this way more times than I can count. This shot evokes the beauty
and serenity that sailing offers me. Our boat is called Shoot
the Moon, but more often, I feel as if we're shooting for
the sun. :) |
