Pyramid (8/29/04)
As I was driving on this beautiful Sunday afternoon, through
a hilly part of the country, I came across this interesting composition.
I love how everything directs your attention upward. It's kind
of the classic triangular composition that I always studied in
art history. I'm interested in how the stone and the iron bridge
intersect but are surrounded by foliage. It makes for a real
nice study in contrasts. This was an amazing drive!
