In My Shoes

This was taken at South Beach in San Diego. It was the first
time I'd been to California and also the first time I'd ever
seen the Atlantic Ocean. This bachelor party was a great time,
with old and new friends. It was also a great escape from some
of the hardship going on at home right now. This day of the bachelor
party was spent entirely on the beach, extremely fun and relaxing.
There was a bet to see if I or another guy would get the most
sunburned. In the end, the friend who worried most about my amount
of time in the sun, got burned the most. I, on the other hand,
stayed covered with sunscreen and kept my shirt on the entire
time. Yeah, I looked like a tourist, but at least not like a
tourist with a cancerous sunburn (I've had enough of those in
my lifetime!). I'll never forget my trip to San Diego. |
