Shot on Thanksgiving day, 2003. I'm fascinated how this brush pile captures the feeling of late fall, that transitional time right before the winter starts. The beautiful colors of the leaves have drained away. Only browns and grays seem to exists. Life in nature slows down and goes to sleep.
