Sour Apples (11/08/03)
These crabapple trees have been incredible to watch throughout the seasons. In late spring, they had these amazing pink
blossoms, in the early fall the leaves turned a great reddish-greenish-gold, and in the last fleeting days of autumn, with the leaves stripped naked, the berries take a life of their own. I guess the berries are so sour that no animals will eat them off of the ground until the robins do in the spring, which is a sign for the blossoms to show up again. What a great little tree.
