Check them out for a good listen!

The Cult of Mac Blog
The title pretty much says everything about this one. I will say that I look at being a Mac addict more of a religon rather than a cult!

Riri's from Toronto, too, making this cool links page international!

Andrea is an amazing photographer with a very proufound outlook on life. The tagline for her site is "You are your own superhero" which was my orignal draw to her. I always leave her site richer than when I arrived.

tonypierce.com + busblog
Tony Pierce is probably the most dedicated blogger I've come across yet. He doesn't blog daily, he does it hourly it seems. Huge in content (lacking from so many sites), with a funny, al biet wicked spin on things, it's a great read.

Friends

ACT II AIDSRide
This past summer, my friend Vicki did the AIDSRide and raised over $3000 for AIDS research. The AIDSRide is a 6 day bicycle ride through Southwest Wisconsin, which starts and ends in Madison, WI. It's a great charity with a great cause. It sounds like it's a life-alerting experience.

Barnsite Art Studio
Run by Dick and Norma, an old barn was turned into an amazing art studio. Located in beautiful Algoma, WI, that gallery is doing wonderful things for the local art movement in that part of Wisconsin. I'm proud to have met Dick and Norma, get to know many of that students working at their studio, and hope to someday soon start utilizing their incredible facility.

Big E Toys
My friend and roommate from college, Chip, has started up his own toy company. Over the past few years has developed and found a manufacturer of a game called Coopetition. It's exciting to watch Chip's dreams come true with the launch of this product and his toy company!

Clear Blue Betty
I worked with this band in the spring of 2004, designing the CD art for their first studio album, Never Been A Rebel. They're an awesome up-and-coming band, housed out of Madison, WI, which plays all over the Midwest. I have a feeling Clear Blue Betty is going to make it big. Their live shows are amazing, and their CD is wonderful. I'm proud to have my name on their CD. The member of the band, Beth, Rob, Tony, and Doug, are great people!

The Engine Room
Here's the official site to my friend Bloom's new band, engine room. They are from the Milwaukee area, and just kicking things off. Check out their music!

Neenah Nodaway Yacht Club
This is the yacht club that I sailed with during the summer of 2003 and 2004. My friend Jamie is a member, and I was part of his crew. I've done some graphic design work with them in the past, and hopefully, will sail wth them again next summer. Sailing is a wonderful thing and the NNYC is a great organization.

Nykkolai's Nonsense
This is my friend Crank's personal website.

One Tough Pirate, hivictorious.org
Bob Bowers is a 21 year survivor of HIV/AIDS. He is also good friend-of-a-friend. Bob has been very outspoken about his diagnosis and his life struggles and personal choices prior to the time of his infection. He speaks on how HIV has helped him to make better choices and to appreciate the beauty of life. Bob is living proof that there is nothing impossible in this world if you apply yourself, physically, spiritually and emotionally. He is a champion for hope and survival despite some of the difficult circumstances that we ALL face in life. This guy is a real fighter and survivor! My friend Vicki, incedentally, did much of the photography on both of these sites.

Packer Dogs Lab Rescue
My friend Cathy runs a very noteworthy lab rescue organization that cares and gives homeless labs a second chance. Technically, I'm on the board of directors, and have done some art work for her in the past. I don't endorse many charities, but this one is close to my heart.

washu.net
My friend Mark unknowingly inspired me to get G-Man Ink going by his creation of this fan site. Mark is into Japanese anime and has devoted his site as tribute to one of the characters named Washu. This site contains 3 or 4 music videos that he's edited together, using different anime footage, as well as a bunch of desktops, e-mail sound sets, and a discussion board (again, the inspiration for my own) devoted to the characters from these anime series.

Wisconsin Up North
This photo site, done by a friend of G-Man Ink, is in it's development stages. I've seen many of Tom's photos in real life, and they are quite wonderful. His take on the great outdoors of Northern Wisconsin, a place I hold near and dear, are breath-taking. I look forward to seeing more of his work and his site taking off. Good luck, Tom!

Other Sites

Macintosh

Apple
I've been a huge user and supporter of Apple computers for over a decade. There innovation, style, and ease of use is constantly getting better! Currently, they're pushing the iTunes music store, a great solution to the downloading issue, and the iPod, which is the best mp3 player around, and the coolest gadget I have.

iPodlounge - All Things iPod
The name says it all: all things iPod. It's a great source for iPod news, reviews, articles, forums, accessory info, desktops, and photo galleries. My favorite part of the site is a gallery series called "Me and My iPod." This is a great iPod site for the coolest gadget ever made!

Movie/Music Reviews And Databases

All Music Guide
A huge internet music database where you can look up song or album titles, album listings, reviews, artists names and info, etc. I use this site all the time (back when I used) to download music, before I purchase music, and when I'm looking for a name of a song and I can't think of the artist or vice versa.

Goat Dog
The creator of this site is a friend-of-a-friend, but he writes damn good movie reviews by any standard. Mike is an avid movie buff and a great writer. This site is incredibly chock full of info; I was blown away by how thorough it is. A must-read for the fan of movies.

Internet Movie Database
The essential online movie database. Need to see reviews, find out every movie that Ben Affleck (who was the bomb in Phantoms, by the way) has been in, or find out all the movies Jerry Bruckheimer has directed? Check it out.

Pop Culture

Awful Plastic Surgery
I'm not sure how I came to this site, but there's a very catty, gossipy side of me that eats sites like this up alive. Check out who's been nipped and who's been tucked!

Best Week Ever Blog
The Best Week ever has quicly become one of my favorite shows of 2004. This show slices and dices through each week of pop culture with a sense of humor and sarcasm that I get the biggest kick out of. The blog has that same biting sense of humor.

Television Without Pity
Here's a TV site that has some great episode wrap-ups of a lot of really good shows, i.e. 24 and Lost. It's a great way to catch up on your favorite show, but they do it with a really sarcastic and clever edge, which I'm always up for.

You Tube
If you are looking for ANY type of video out there on the web, here's the place to find it. I find myself getting lost on this site for hours.

Star Wars.com
The official site of one of my favorite movies series of all time. This site is full current movie updates, and media downloads.

The View Askewniverse
This is the official Kevin Smith website, director of Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and Jersey Girl. This is a great site with many updates to Kevin Smith projects, as well as merchanidse and movie info. Kevin Smith does an awesome job keeping in touch with the fans and keeping them informed. Snootchie bootchie, little nootchies.

Miscellaneous

Pocket Homie
You thought Shaft was the baddest mo'fo' around?

Take a video camera, lots of beer, and a few...um..."free spirits" and you've got the contestants for the next American Idiot. No, I'm not looking for the next Kelly Clarkson or Ruben Studdard; it's more like the next Jim Carey and Jeff Daniels in Dumb And Dumber. The search has been right before my eyes...and I call these people my friends! Coming soon to G-Man Ink!
